When a business owner today is considering different marketing options, their two biggest concerns seem to be low cost and quick to implement and with good reason in uncertain times. Below are a few suggestions of some marketing options for small business owners that fit both those categories.

  • Line of sight. This is where you display your promotions in your prospects line of sight. Where ever your prospects are spending most of their time is where you want to put out some simple brochures or signs.
  • Invoice stuffers. We all have received these in the mail before. A simple insert that you can put inside your customer’s invoice that will catch their attention.
  • Car magnets and decals. We all drive around the city past all of our potential clients, why not advertise while doing so. Have some cheap and simple magnets or decals made that you and your employees can display on their vehicles.
  • Wallet Keepers: Print informative content on a card. The information should be good enough for your prospects to want to keep in their wallets. Think this through. How can you take up permanent real estate in someone’s wallet? The low hanging fruit ideas are calendars and tip charts. Be creative and try to be specific to your industry.
