Blogs As Your Search Marketing Investment

A lot of business people tend to over look blogs as a great marketing investment. Think about all the times your personally go to search for something, you type in your keyword and up pops 100′s of related topics so you scroll through until you find something that catches your eye.

Have one of your employees like the secretary for example write 2-4 blogs about your company daily. This enables you to be put in many search engines for when people search for a topic that is related to your business. Say you are a salon, your employee writes blogs about your salon, then every time someone simply types in salon…up you come.

You’ll get great search placement — and priceless credibility. Even better, search links stop when you stop paying. Links to your blog are a permanent promotion.  Remember, if it stops when you stop paying, it’s advertising. If it keeps going, it’s word of mouth marketing.
