Scan Man Pty Ltd began trading in July 2008 and features just two founding directors as staff, as well as various sub-contractors as required.
The Sunshine Coast-headquartered business does concrete scanning and underground 3D imaging for engineers, surveyors and the construction industry and has even been called by police to conduct underground searches for bodies.
The company has also worked on jobs all over Australia on oil refineries and the Sydney desalination plant, and has had interest from Dubai.
Director James Klobasa said there were some challenges for this young company.
“Starting from zero, business has been good, consistent from month to month,†he said.
“There is room for a lot more growth as we don’t market ourselves apart from our web presence.
“But some of our client reporting procedures need outsourcing, as it is time consuming.
