Weird Invention: Pet Urn that Looks Like Your Pet
Charles J. Johansen, Jr. has patented a pet crematory urn for storing the cremated remains of a deceased pet. A decorative figure in the nearly exact likeness of the deceased pet provides a sealable repository chamber for receiving cremated remains of a deceased pet.
I have heard of people having their pets freeze dried and taxidermied, so maybe it’s not too crazy of an idea. Besides, the model in the patent does look quite a bit like my dog.

I loved my pets as much as the next person but when one would die I just buried it. On the other hand, I know how obsessed some people are about their pets and I can imagine that’s the type of market the urn is for.
Also, your dog looks like a real sweetie! S/he kind of looks like a dog I had way back in the day.
