The landline, mobile and broadband customers of BSNL now don’t have to stand in queues for payment of their bills, because from now onwards, they will be able to pay their bills through franchisees located near to their houses or shops.
On Friday, the State telecom Operator has launched “BSNL Bill Payment†service (BBP) based on franchisee model which works round-the-clock. The service was first introduced in Pune, which will be later expanded to other parts of the country on successful implementation.
The unique service is based on electronic payment method, and expected to ease out the process of BBP for customers in urban, rural as well as semi-urban areas.
