  • NOT A GOOD DEAL AT ALL! SELLERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF you think about it, Ebay is making more Money off of the seller than if you just pay for the listing fees.

WORD TO THE WISE. Make your first 5 listings less than $24.99 so you actually benefit from the promotion. If you make it for more than 24.99 or 50.00. I forgot the structure cut off. YOU WILL BE GIVING EBAY MORE MONEY THAN IT NEEDS. You will be getting charged %8.75 instead of only getting charged %8.75 up to 24.99 or $50.00, and then only %3.5 for monetary gain after $24.99 or $50.00

    UNDERSTAND?

Streamline your business, Give Ebay Less, Make More. That is the idea. Don’t fall into this marketing trap.

  • Sounds odd. Look at the fine print, to go along with the waived insertion fee is a higher final value fee. The 5 items with a free insertion fee have a flat final value of 8.75%, normally this tapers down to 3.5% over $25. The extra 5.25% final value fee for anything over $30 is much more than any insertion fee savings.
