Great Kid Invention: CircleSoap

Examiner.com:

The best ideas are often ones that come out of a need. One such invention is CircleSoaps. They were invented by a 7 year old who wanted to make it easier to hold onto his soap.

Q: How did you come up with the idea of CircleSoap?

Carter: I was playing with some soap in our bathroom one day and making a hole in the middle. My mom said “Hey Carter, stop making that hole and ruining my soap!” But after a couple of days my little sisters were using the soap and it was easier for them to use. So one day I told my mom that we should make soaps with holes in the middle, and sell them to raise money to buy the homeless people an apartment so they could live there for free.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

Carter: A scientist for space and one that makes robots.

Q: Anything else you want to add?

Carter: We are taking some of the profit from the sales of CircleSoap and purchasing items for “We Care Kits”. We Care Kits are individually packaged supplies of personal care (hygiene) items contained in a zip lock bag, along with a personal note of encouragement.

These kits are used as welcome bags for new homeless guests at the Hope Ministries shelters in Iowa.
