American Bar Association Annual Forum On Franchising Shines Light On Biz Bright Spot

U.S. franchisors continue to grow outside of the country, with Canada being a prime example as many American companies look north for expansion and out-of-work Canadians seek self employment as an answer to tough times.

American company Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. is targeting the Canadian market, ready to serve its famous chicken wings, burgers and wraps north of the 49th parallel. In fact, Matt Brokl, VP, Associate General Counsel, Buffalo Wild Wings, says the company “is looking forward to extending its reach outside of the United States and Canada is a very attractive market for us to do so.”

Franchise lawyers from across the United States and Canada will meet to discuss industry and legal opportunities and challenges this fall at the American Bar Association’s 32nd Annual Forum on Franchising Conference in Toronto running October 14-16 at the Westin Harbour Castle hotel. Read more.
