Just Be Happy!

When first starting your own business many people tend to go a little bit mind crazy in terms of worrying about competing strongly with their competitors, offering everything under the sun to their clients, having off the charts profits 3 months into their start-up. The problem with this is more times than not they are worrying about thing’s that are pretty much pointless to worry about.

Your start-up probably can’t and won’t compete with the industry leaders in the beginning. Hell your start-up might even be doing the same thing many other businesses are doing. All that really matters is the fun you are having. If your doing something you love who cares if its the perfect business model.

Rather than over analyze every little detail about your new start-up, be happy that you got it off the ground to begin with. Now I’m not suggesting that you open up a business and just let it be, and whatever happens happens, but you don’t need to stress yourself into the emergency room over it either.

Go with your gut instincts on most thing’s, stay as close to your original business plan as you can and be happy doing what you want to do. You cant change a lot of thing’s in life and business, and worrying about those thing’s that you can’t change is only going to make you more nuts and make your business go down hill as you won’t be concentrating on the important thing’s, recently talked about on Mind Frenzy.

  • Thanks for the splendid post. In my opinion, starting a business is truly a mingling of mixed feeling and sensations. You feel happy yet you are anxious; you feel hesitant to go on but there is that urge in your heart to push forward with your venture.

  • “Go with your gut instincts”..well..I think this is easy to say but hard to do. Not many people have good instinct, specially business instinct. For me, it’s hard to do, and I feel I don’t have that instinct. What do you think if there someway to create business instinct or to train our business instinct?

  • I could not agree more. Why is so many people develop ideas but never take the step of turning the into reality? wo months ago I spoke to a friend of mine about an idea for an online auction site and launching my own line of clothing. Two months later (yes today) we are about two weeks from launch. Of course there will be competition, of course we will struggle – but we are having a lot of fun and hopwfully make more than a few bucks in the end.

I belive way to many people have fear of success. We actually wrote about fear yesterday on our bog, why not take a look. http://thecdd.com/posts/20-Characteristics-of-a-modern-entrepeneur
