All business owners are constantly trying to find better, easier, and cost effective ways for obtaining more customers and thus increasing their profits greatly. I recently came across an article on Small Biz Bee that listed some ways to win more customers for free!

  • Charities.
  • Name Tags.
  • Freebies.
  • Better voicemails and voicemail options.
  • Great testimonials.
  • Your Email address and your companies website.
  • Word of mouth advertising or “tell a Friend”.
  • Open houses.

Use these first ideas as a starter pack, a launching pad to brainstorm more opportunities across your unique business to grow your customer base, and keep them coming back for more.

  • Charities are a great way to win customers for free because when a company is linked to cause it makes people want to get involved and intrigued about your company!

  • Although on the surface this sounds like a great way to win customers for free, you need to be careful about selecting the charities in which you associate. This can be a very political issue especially if your prospects and/or customers do not approve of the charity.

Understand your audience before selecting a charity.

  • Nice idea’s summarized into simple points. I would definitely add to this list and review it overtime.
