Mary Kay Produces Another Successful Rep

Montgomery Advertiser:

From the perspective of Mary Kay Cosmetics sales director Barbara Allen-Rosser, men have many toys — boats, golf clubs and fishing rods to name a few, she said. For women, cosmetics are on the list.

“Lots of women come to Mary Kay for the fun,” Rosser said.

And she knows women and their fondness for cosmetics. She has been involved in Mary Kay for more than two decades. After starting with the company in June 1989, Rosser quickly rose in Mary Kay and is now a senior sales director in the Montgomery area.

Making a woman feel great about her appearance is not just for her, Rosser contends. The entire family can benefit, she said.

“When a woman comes home and her husband compliments her, and her kids say she looks good, it changes the whole attitude of the family,” she said.

The Pike Road resident enjoys helping not only her clients look good, but also bringing other women into the business. She helps newcomers to Mary Kay find their niche in the enterprise that was started in 1963, Rosser said.

“My favorite part of the business is developing leaders — helping women find what level in the business they want,” she said. “I wear several hats, including getting other women interested.”
