Ubergizmo is reporting that the Air Board is a $14,000 personal hovercraft that will float 8″ above the ground at all times, reaching a maximum speed of 15 mph while running around and about for an hour or so on just 1.3 gallons of gas.
A couple of levers on the steering bar ensures you will be able to steer in the right direction as you shift your weight around. The Air Board comes with a safety switch that kills the engine whenever you jump off.
The Air Board can be driven “over concrete, asphalt, grass or shallow wet areas, but you cannot hover over water, sand, stones or dirt-filled areas due to the bottomside vacuum.”

Now if the engine can run on Natural green energy, then this might as well become the next jetpack, how cooler would it be to hover over water.
