House prices are likely to continue to rise in the New Year, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – speaking at The Negotiator Magazine’s recent Thriving not Surviving conference in Manchester, RICS senior economist Brigid O’Leary, says: “Over the long term, inadequate supply remains a key concern for the housing market and, all else equal, suggests that upward price pressures will remain an issue because of inadequate housing supply to meet population demands…”
