Labels That Your Kids Will Love

If you have a child in daycare or in school then you know what it is like to label everything, from cups to clothing, that leaves the house. Traditionally that would mean the use of a permanent marker but now that is no longer necessary. Innovative parents, like Laura Porreca of Lovable Labels, have found an alternative to marking directly on items through the use of durable labels and tags.

Lovable Labels is the manufacturer of personalized bag tags, sticker labels and iron ons. Based out of Canada, they have been selling their kid-friendly labels since 2003. Thanks to their agent opportunity, some parents are also able to call this their business..

Tell us a little about Lovable Labels.

Lovable Labels is your source for beautiful and durable labels, bag tags, and other kid products like wristbands and personalized books. Frustrated by the amount of things your kids lose at camp, school or daycare? We have the solution! Each label is personalized with a name, initial, nickname or anything you choose with lots of icons and colours to choose from. Our labels have been “kid tested” and are dishwasher, microwave and sun safe. Our motto is “Don’t Lose it – Label it!”

What inspired it?

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit! I knew I wanted to be at home and watch my kids grow but still needed the challenge and drive of business. Starting Lovable Labels allowed me to use my creative passion and business sense to create amazing products for other moms and be there for my kids.

How many different label styles/designs do you currently offer?

We offer many different types of labels – from our original Sticker Labels to Shoe Labels and Clothing Labels. All of our labels are personalized and are all durable (dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer safe). We are consistently added to our product line!

What is your sales agent opportunity?

Lovable Labels is the perfect working environment for anyone who would like to stay at home with their children and build a successful business for themselves or for someone who would like to work part-time and earn extra money. Unlike most home businesses, you can work during the week – no evenings or weekends. You have the flexibility to create your own work schedule.

What are the requirements to become a sales agent? How much does it cost?

To become a Lovable Label’s agent, there is a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $249.00** (plus GST for Canadian residents). This registration fee includes:

  • Your own personalized Lovable Labels website
  • Your own Lovable Labels email address

Is your opportunity limited to Canada or can people in other countries sign on as well?

We currently have 400 sales agents throughout North America and we are looking to expand internationally.

Have you always been entrepreneurial? Are you surprised at how far you’ve come?

Yes! It started as a hobby but the demand for this type of product was out there so the business grew and here we are!

What goals do you still hope to accomplish?

The future for Lovable Labels is very exciting. We are looking to further build our market presence by increasing advertising and marketing initiatives throughout North America. In addition, we consistently evaluate our product line and add new products based on feedback we receive from agents and customers. We continue the dream and vision that I have for Lovable Labels and that is for our presence to be known world wide. We would love the opportunity to have other moms all over the world sell our products and generate enough income to be able to stay at home with their children – which in the end is the most important job in the world.

What are some of the lessons your business has taught you?

This venture has taught me a great lesson in life and that is that you can do whatever you put your mind to. I have learned so much about myself and in turn having my own business has helped me to grow as a person and as a “Mompreneur”.

What has been your biggest challenge as a mompreneur to date?

The biggest challenge of being a Mompreneur is that of time and balance. As a busy mom of two and a business owner there is no quitting time. It is hard to hang up your hat when you are wearing so many!
