Scentsy Celebrates Remarkable Growth

After just five years in business, Scentsy, Inc. is proving that a simple and authentic business strategy can translate into profitable growth.

The company, which offers scented, wickless candles through a Party Plan system, now has more than 50,000 independent consultants throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Canada. Scentsy is celebrating its fifth year anniversary and its remarkable growth since starting on a small Idaho sheep farm in 2004.

“In a short amount of time, Scentsy has proven that it has the product value and quality people are seeking in today’s market,” said John Curtis, Communications vice President for Scentsy.

Scentsy’s growth earned it the distinction of receiving the Direct Selling Association’s 2009 Rising Star Award, which recognizes companies that dedicate themselves to achieving a high standard of excellence in business operations. The company is averaging 300 percent growth in revenue and number of independent Consultants and is projecting 2009 sales of nearly $195 million.
