Nearly 15 years after it abandoned plans to enter the Kansas City market, Bruegger’s is back with a much better welcome.
The Burlington, Vt.-based bakery/cafe chain opened a location in Overland Park’s Corbin Park on Thursday with a steady stream of customers all day. A grand opening for the location at 13713 Metcalf Ave. will be March 4.
Along with bagels baked fresh throughout the day, Bruegger’s sells fresh-baked bread, breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, wraps, panini, signature salads, soup, muffins, coffee and dessert. Bruegger’s has nearly 300 locations in 17 states.
“We lived in Southern California and there are Bruegger’s everywhere,†said area franchisee Mike Blandi. “We fell in love with the food and service.†Read more.
