Checkers Drive-In Restaurants made franchising news earlier this week when it announced the opening of two new locations in downtown Atlanta. With the addition of the pair of restaurants, Checkers now has 8,000 restaurants throughout the United States.
The company is actively pursuing new franchise deals in many cities along the East Coast
and in Las Vegas, Nevada.The new restaurants are aimed at taking advantage of different audiences. The first location is in the Peachtree Center Mall and will operate in the shopping center’s food court. While the other location will serve the business community in the Farlie-Poplar District of downtown Atlanta.
