I have designed a whole family of new handtools based on my three patents relating to a pliers-like approach to nail and staple pulling. Although it isn’t very sexy, it IS very relevant for reuse and demolition and responsible deconstruction because my tools dramatically reduce the time spent getting rid of nails. The applications are quite broad, from the simple and efficient removal of the dreaded staples to even quickly clearing lumber after a natural disaster.
