Dairy Congress, World Food Expo Set

The Cebu Federation of Dairy Cooperatives, in cooperation with the Dairy Confederation of the Philippines (DCP), will hold the 13th Dairy Congress from April 16 to 18 at the Cebu International Convention Center in Mandaue City.

The congress will serve as a venue for dairy farmers around the country to discuss the trends and issues affecting the local dairy industry as well as the best practices used in dairy farming.

The congress will also feature lectures on breeding and management of dairy cattle, marketing of dairy products, farm management and pasture development and on how to start a dairy farm.

The registration fee is P2,500 for non-DCP members, P2,000 for DCP members and $100 for foreign delegates.

The registration fee includes congress kit, lunch, dinner and snacks for the three congress dates.

Those who wish to attend certain forums of the congress will be given a day pass rate at P900 per day, inclusive of meals and certificate.

Together with the congress will be a World Food Expo showcasing various food and food ingredients and food processing machines.

The food expo will also feature cooking demonstrations, food sampling and franchising during the three-day activity.
