Gold’s Gyms, a fitness club franchiser that is part of Irving-based TRT Holdings, Inc., has reached a 10-year agreement with an Abu Dhabi company to open 26 clubs in four countries along the Arabian Peninsula.
Gold’s Gym International senior vice president Joel Tallman said Al Ahli Holding Group has agreed to set up the franchises in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. An additional 66 clubs in Africa and the Middle East also could come from the agreement. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
