Use Dry-Erase Marker For Reminders
Task lists are great, but sometimes you want a reminder that’s right in front of your face to be absolutely certain you don’t forget something on the way to the office. Use a dry erase marker to leave yourself a mirror-note.
Lifehacker reader ayellen shared a great, if unconventional, use for dry-erase markers:
I write my to-do list on my mirror. This way, every time I walk by the mirror, I see what I have to do. And the only thing more satisfying than crossing something off a to-do list is being able to watch yourself smile while doing it.
We tested the trick out by writing on a bathroom mirror—see above—and expanding it by writing on a glass door.

This trick will also work with the rearview mirror or side window of your car.
Another dry-erase marker trick is when someone has used a permanent marker on a dry-erase board and left it stained. Go over the stain with a dry-erase marker and then wipe off. Should take the stain away.

Great idea. I have a metal filing cabinet and storage cabinet in my home office and use the dry-erase markers and write all sorts of notes all over them. Keeps me on task.

That’s clever. I wonder how well it would work on my fish tanks considering they’re the only glass-like surface near me.
