The Beer Spot is a new concept that brings top quality beers from around the world to Albufeira, where the franchise’s first bar/shop has opened.
Mário Castro spent months travelling around Europe’s best beer hotspots, such as Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, and others, to learn the trade and the traditions of the exquisite art of beer, an arduous but enjoyable task, especially for a huge beer fanatic like Mário. After extensive research and contacts made, Mário decided to put his idea into motion and create a quality beer establishment in the Algarve, where he believes the concept will excel. With quality being the company’s priority, The Beer Spot offers a vast selection of some of the finest ales, stouts, pilsners, ciders, lagers, available on the market, selling exclusive beers that cannot be found in any other establishment in Portugal.
The bar, located in Albufeira’s old town, also doubles as a shop with take-away service, offering over 100 different beers for the bar and over 200 for the takeaway service. A total of 530 varieties of beers can also be bought from their online store.
