After seven years of mounting success and five restaurants and counting in Venezuela, husband and wife entrepreneurial duo, Cesar Olivo and Adriana Perez Benatar, brought Salsa Fiesta, their Urban Mexican fast-casual concept, to Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood in October, 2009. Located at 2929 Biscayne Blvd., Salsa Fiesta is quickly gaining momentum with Miami residents for its high quality, robust menu offering.
“Most people are surprised to learn that we make all our food from scratch and by hand with almost nothing bought pre-made, except our tortillas and desserts,” says Cesar Olivo, co-proprietor of Salsa Fiesta. “We cut all our meats, produce, and cheeses fresh in our kitchen daily, using only original recipe marinades and salsas to provide ample flavoring. It’s an approach to cooking that we’re very accustomed to, but many people in the U.S. aren’t used to experiencing.”
