The man behind one of Australia’s best known businesses has not disclosed to prospective franchisees the full extent of court proceedings that have been launched against him.
Jim Penman, the owner of Jim’s Group, Australia’s second-largest franchise operation, has also understated the amount being claimed in the court action by a former UK master franchisee.
Paul Carr is suing Jim’s Group, Mr Penman, former offsider Phil Maunder and former UK business partner Richard Harrison, claiming three million pounds ($5m) in damages. More.
