Welding Designs Focus Of Mom’s Business
Today’s mother is more than a cookie baker and a boo boo doctor. Today’s moms are college professors, bank presidents and business owners.
Connie Combs of Dundee is one of them. As a full-time mom and business owner, she’s in charge and in heels at her Winter Haven business, Metal Momma’s, a custom design, ornamental metal business, specializing in home décor and business products.
Her business came into existence in the middle of January as a brand product of Combs Welding and Design of Winter Haven, owned by her husband, Mark.
“I studied art all the way through school, and my dream was to be an artist,” Combs said. “Now I get to do what I’ve always wanted to do.”
Combs also makes custom furniture such as beds, contemporary tables, and a complete line of dog products. Included in that specialty line are custom dog beds, and custom dog feeders, such as her new ‘dog bar’ which mounts to a wall.
