The Apple Gold Group, franchisee of Applebee’s restaurants in North Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas, is proud to partner with Second Chance Community Development Corporation to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, June 26, 2010. All proceeds raised will help purchase equipment and supplies for local youth to obtain their GED/high school diploma.
“The Apple Gold Group is always thrilled to support non-profit groups in the community,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “This is a wonderful organization and we are proud to assist their efforts to provide educational opportunities for students.”
The Second Chance Community Development Corporation Flapjack Fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 11805 Retail Dr., Wake Forest, NC starting at 7:30 a.m. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased by calling Anita O. King at (919) 931-4509. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
