The Taipei headquartered Din Tai Fung is going to expand their popular chain of restaurants to a new location in the U.S., but this time it will not be part of the family owned base of stores.
Taiwanese born David Wasielewski is the first franchisee and plans to open the Bellevue restaurant fall 2010. The only other U.S. location is run by the family’s son and is located in Arcadia, California.
New Din Tai Fung in Bellevue, WashingtonAfter a year of rumors and recent confirmation that there will indeed be a location coming, the stage is now set for the first U.S. franchised location of Din Tai Fung to open this fall in Washington. The new Bellevue location will be located on the second-level at Lincoln Square, next to the skybridge which connects to Bellevue Place.
