Michael Ansley, President and CEO of Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc., commented today on the planned opening of the Company’s newest Buffalo Wild Wings® restaurant in Traverse City, Michigan.
“Traverse City is a four-season tourist destination, often cited as one of America’s best small town destinations for its beaches and water recreation, golf courses, wineries, winter activities, and shopping. Our new Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant will be strategically located on one of the city’s main access highways to take advantage of the tourism crowd and is also within a ten minute drive for over 80,000 permanent residents of the region. This restaurant opening is consistent with our strategy to grow organically under our Area Development Agreement with Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc., which requires a total of 38 locations by 2017,†stated Mr. Ansley.
DRH announced today that it had entered into a ten-year lease, with renewal options, for a 6,200 square-foot restaurant at 3480 South Airport Road, near its intersection with joint route 31/37, across from the Grand Traverse Mall, the area’s premier shopping destination. The location is expected to open in the first quarter of 2011.
