Community & Applebee’s Raise Over $3000 To Support Kidney Transplant Patient

MyNC.com:

The Apple Gold Group, franchisee of Applebee’s restaurants in North Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas, is proud to have helped the Men’s Bible Class at Green Pines Baptist Church raise over $3,000 at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser. The Flapjack Fundraiser benefited Ms. Rochelle Dunn, member of Pines Baptist Church, who is currently awaiting a kidney transplant. Proceeds raised will help cover prescription costs and medical expenses.

“The success of this fundraiser would not have been possible without the tremendous efforts put forth by this church, the community and its volunteers,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “Our thoughts are with Ms. Dunn as she awaits her transplant, and we wish her all the best with her recovery.”

The Ms. Rochelle Dunn Flapjack Fundraiser was hosted on July 24, 2010 by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 6609 Knightdale Blvd., Knightdale, NC. The organization sold 250 tickets and an additional $1,892 in donations was collected.
