Now Hiring 15 Million!

With the number of jobless Americans still on the rise, a startup company in Atlanta wants to be the tiny fish that feeds the multitude by offering all of them a source of income.

Is it legal? Yes.

2PONS Magazine, a printed coupon publication, launched its “Now Hiring 15 Million” website last week and plans to hire any unemployed U.S. resident as an independent sales contractor as long as they have access to a computer with high speed internet and a phone with an unlimited long distance service plan.

No investment is required and the applicant can start immediately. Sales or marketing experience is not a factor because the company believes all Americans can sell a product or service.

“Selling is this country’s oldest profession. Americans start selling in elementary school”, says company president Matthew Jameson. “Remember those chocolate bars, greeting cards, gift wrapping paper and magazines you sold when you were a little? Everyone in America knows how to sell something!”

2PONS wants the Now Hiring 15 Million campaign to encourage other small businesses to use independent contracting to ease the unemployment dilemma in the country.

In just a few days, 2PONS has already recruited nearly two hundred independent sales contractors, and Atlanta businesses are learning more about 2PONS from their phone calls.

Lisa Johnverrell, the company’s sales manager, says that the independent sales contractors are excited about having an income opportunity on their terms.

She hopes that the mass independent contractor hiring by 2PONS will send a message to the small business world that non-traditional staffing may be the key to both survival and getting income to unemployed Americans.

Editor’s Note: This seems to be a legit offer. 2PONS does not ask for an investment from the applicant to become an independent contractor, nor do they ask for any thing more than a name and address when registering. As an independent contractor, you have no benefits and have to pay your own taxes and Social Security. Keep in mind that this company has only been in business since November 2009 and you will be selling advertising, so be ready to handle rejection.
