Aware of just how crazy his town was about Tim Tebow, Seth Finley launched a website dedicated to selling parody t-shirts reports the Denver Post.
Although Finley isn’t getting rich yet, he figures the American Dream could come true.
“I started a couple of months ago,” said Finley, whose real job is as the vice president of marketing for a ceramic fibers company. “I was joking around with a couple of designs, built a website for them, and some guy from CNBC Sports tweeted about the website.”
Twenty-thousand followers later, Finley was filling orders as fast as he could.
“We purchase shirts from a wholesaler and print them out locally,” he said. “These are all parody T-shirts meant to be light- hearted and not taken seriously.”
The website tebowtees.com displays 10 T-shirts at $20 apiece in men’s and women’s sizes that pay homage to the backup Broncos quarterback.
Does Tebow know about the tees?
“I don’t know,” Finley said. “He hasn’t called me.”
