Tutoring company Step Ahead has launched its first franchise.
Former primary school teacher Gail Fotheringham is taking on the brand in Forth Valley to cater to the demand for basic literacy and numeracy plus specialist academic subjects.
Step Ahead already has around 600 tutors working across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.
Fotheringham said: “I am thrilled to be bringing Step Ahead to the Forth Valley region. Having worked for the company as a tutor for five years, I know I have the support of a fantastic team which shares my passion for education.
“I will be developing tutoring services in the area to meet growing market demand, and seeking to recruit outstanding teachers keen to experience the rewards of one-to-one tutoring.” More.
