Make Your Own Android Apps

By on December 17, 2010 in Ideas

Google originally released the App Inventor software to education-focused groups in July. According to Time Techland, it is now available for everyone. The real question is: Can you turn this into an opportunity to promote your business through your own app?

App Inventor promises a simple, visual way to program simple applications—”like fitting together puzzle pieces,” according to Google.

The web-based software is free to use and the applications you develop can be transferred to your Android phone.

While your custom-built applications may not rival those of popular app developers, the software seems like a good way to whip up simple apps while gaining experience with basic programming logic.
