Mary Kay Welcomes New National Sales Director

The Times:

Jeanie Martin, daughter of Clara and the late Walter Gura of Streator, achieved the status of Mary Kay independent national sales director, the pinnacle of achievement for the more than two million Mary Kay independent sales force members worldwide. Throughout Mary Kay’s 47-year history, only 600 women have become Mary Kay independent national sales directors, and there are approximately 200 in the United States.

In 1988, Jeanie was teaching English at Serena High School when she began her Mary Kay business to earn extra money for traveling. Martin since has grown this Mary Kay business and touched the lives of thousands of women through Mary Kay products and by sharing the Mary Kay opportunity.

“Jeanie’s extraordinary determination, hard work and professionalism enabled her to achieve this honor,” said Gary Jinks, Mary Kay senior vice president of sales. “We are always thrilled to be able to recognize this kind of achievement. The Mary Kay opportunity continues to offer open-ended financial opportunities while enriching women’s lives.”
