Vector Marketing Corporation Presents Highest Corporate Honor for Community Service to Two Division Managers

Marketwire:

Aaron Love and Angie Macdougall, division managers for Vector Marketing Corporation, the direct sales division of Cutco Cutlery Corporation, were presented with the “Marty Domitrovich Triple Crown of Service” award at the company’s recent Strategic Leadership Conference in San Diego, California. The award is given in memory of one of Vector Marketing’s most esteemed leaders, and is presented each year to the person or persons showing outstanding contributions to his or her community. This is the first year the award has been presented.

Etched on the Triple Crown of Service plaque is one of Marty’s favorite sayings, illustrating his positive outlook on life: “You have the ability to live a life filled with more joy and satisfaction than you ever imagined. There are no limits except the ones you put on yourself. We have all been put on earth for a special purpose, with talents and abilities we haven’t yet realized. Success means truly understanding what is important in life and what gives you joy and happiness. Whatever that is for you, do it with one hundred percent passion.”

Love, a father of four and resident of Spokane, Washington, manages 10 Vector Marketing offices throughout Eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. He received the award in recognition of his commitment to helping organizations in his community that benefit those who are less fortunate, and for inspiring those who work for him to do the same.

Love has also instilled a commitment to giving back to his children (ages 12, 9, 5, and 2). Each year, his eldest kids donate between 350 – 375 beanie babies to the local hospital — enough for each sick child hospitalized in Spokane to have their own beanie baby.

Macdougall, a mother of two and resident of Vernon, British Columbia, manages all of Vector Marketing’s Western Canada offices.

“Angie and Aaron embody the finest characteristics of Marty Domitrovich — an unselfish dedication to others, a commitment to service, and a superb example of how to achieve a work/life balance. Their selection for this honor is a tribute to his memory,” said Bruce Goodman, president and CEO of Vector Marketing Corporation’s western division.
