Steve Jobs Used to Be Nervous on Camera, Too

The reality distortion field is a term used to describe Steve Jobs of Apple and the way his charisma. The RDF is said to be Steve Jobs’ ability to convince himself and others to believe almost anything with a mix of superficial charm, charisma, bravado, hyperbole, marketing, appeasement, and persistence.

But, Steve Jobs was not always the cool and polished performer you see on stage announcing new iPhones and iPads. Twenty years ago he was just as nervous in front of the camera as you or I would be.

This warm-up footage, after the jump, comes from prior to what’s claimed to be his first television appearance. It is fun to see because from it we can take away that anyone, with a lot practice and persistent can become the quintessential showman, just like Steve Jobs.
