Sumo Salad Goes For The Grain In Health Drive

Franchising.net.au:

Multigrain and soy and linseed breads are replacing food franchise Sumo Salad‘s white bread toasties and long rolls in an effort to offer Australians even healthier fast food options on the go.

The healthy food franchise admits some customers may be disappointed by the change, but insists providing its overall customer base with more nutritious alternatives is more important.

Managing director of SumoSalad, Luke Baylis, said “Over the past decade there has been a definite consumer shift towards the high fibre, low GI qualities of wholemeal, seeds and grains, which are known to keep you fuller for longer. SumoSalad is simply aligning itself with the general consumer demand and we think our customers will appreciate it.”
