I’m not sure if this is a joke, but a new dating site that is set to launch later this month disagrees with the notion that opposites attract. Findyourfacemate.com (website not up yet) is banking on sameness being the root of attraction. The site will help you find a date that look’s similar to you.
According NY Magazine, “Findyourfacemate.com is powered by facial-recognition technology developed by Face.com, which zeros in on nine points on each face–the eyes, ears, nose, chin, and the corners and center of the mouth–to find similarities.”
