I’m Back
I’m back from a week long power outage. I have a generator and was able to access the internet from time to time, but for the most part I was completely cut off from the rest of the world.
And do you know what? I liked it.
But I am glad to be back.
And I do have a lot to clean up.

Hey..I totally get it. There’s a kind of enforced ‘zen’ about this sort of event. Ricardo went through it: he was in NOLA during Katrina, the ULTIMATE LIFE INTERRUPTION, and please don’t think I’m being disrespectful. Thing is, you really get to take a look at what is important in your life, what is valued and cherished, what is mere flotsam, and you sort of mentally ‘regroup”, which we all need to do from time to time, extreme weather or no. Welcome back, my friend!
