Big Bust Up At Sydney’s SumoSalad

A business dispute involving the SumoSalad franchise has led to furniture being cut into pieces at a Sydney CBD store and police being called.

Equipment at the store in the MLC Centre food court was cut or dismantled by workers hired by the SumoSalad franchisor last night, franchisee Isaac Chalik said.

Mr Chalik said he was notified about 7pm by the franchisor that he was going to be locked out of the stores at the centre and at the Sydney Central Plaza. When he arrived 45 minutes later, he said he found the workers pulling apart the equipment and loading it on to trucks. Read more.
