Gelato Italiano, an ice cream brand of Blue Food Company has plans to expand its network primarily via franchise route by opening more than 60 outlets. The new outlets will be a mix of company owned and franchised outlets.
The company aims to have a pan India presence by strengthening its presence in Tier I cities, and then targeting the Tier II and III cities. The brand has not revealed the investment needed for this rapid expansion so far.
