Growing Plants Without Dirt

At the TEDxTokyo conference, Dr. Yuichi Mori presented his newest creation: a futuristic agricultural system called Imec Mobiol Gel. The invention looks like a large sheet of plastic wrap that grass and other plants can grow on. Watch the video below.

As someone who’s fingers are still stained form working in the garden all weekend, this kind of technology is awesome.
