World’s Largest Automatic Truck Wash

According to The Presurfer, this fully automatic truck wash facility in Lloydminster, Canada is the world’s largest. More than 20,000 gallons of water are used for each wash.
The wash in the video costs $140.

If it cost less, I could see a market for something like this. All vehicles can benefit from a good washing once in a while. The only worry I have is about the amount of water it uses.

I would have to say that the water usage per truck is greatly exaggerated. As a technician for the company that built that was, I can say while the system output is close to that 20,000 gallon per wash, that does not mean that the system actually uses that much water. The TransCanada wash uses a reclaim system throughout the high pressure stages and the only water that is not recycled is the carry off water and the freshwater used for the chemical application and the rinse.
