Haircuts, Beer and Burgers
Three things men love will be woven together when a new business opens in Howell later this summer — burgers, beers and shears.
Pinckney resident Lance Lumpiesz soon will open the doors of Moe’s BarBar Shop, 106 W. Grand River Ave., a place where a man “can cut his locks and have a scotch on the rocks.”
“That’s kind of our motto,” he said.
Spread out over two storefronts, the business will be one-half restaurant, one-half barber shop and lounge, he said.
The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus has the complete story on this unique pairing.

That sounds like an interesting idea! I just hope the barbers hold off on the booze until AFTER they are done working. ;-)

Whoa, Angie’s right..don’t wanna lose an ear!! Seriously, though, mixed function businesses, like laundromats with a boutique attached, or a bank that has snacks..this is cool, and really should inspire other idea-people!

I have noticed that we’ve posted about a number of bar/barbershops over the years. I wonder if men are just nervous about having someone cut their hair and need something to cut the tension? Personally, I’d prefer a bar/dentist office myself!

I think most service businesses should have a bar built-in. lol. A nail salon bar would be heavenly.
