Every year over 15,000 dryer-related fires occur. Often these statistics would go unnoticed, except one man, Gerry Flood, took notice and decided to do something about it. So he created the OnGard dryer vent fire suppression system.
With an easy setup system and basic instructions, the OnGard can quickly turn a life threatening possibility into a minor problem.
How it Works
- The unit is mounted to the wall near the dryer and the tubing is fed through an existing opening in the back of the dryer.
- In the event of a fire, the flame causes the heat detection tubing to rupture, immediately releasing the patent-pending HEP-1 agent.
- The HEP-1 is able to penetrate every area of the enclosed space better than existing dry chemical suppression agents and even flow up the duct to follow the flames.
Gerry spent over 20 years in the fire extinguishing industry before stumbling upon his idea for the OnGard. As an established entrepreneur with another company, he knew this was an opportunity he could not afford to ignore. He hopes to convince small retailers that he is right.
OnGard is currently looking for independent dealers to sell their system. The wholesale price for 100 units is only $6,900.00 + freight and retail, and installation is between $150-200.00. Contact FireXOnline for more details about their dealer opportunity.
