The Home Emergency Lamp Post (HELP) is a mailbox post with an interior lighting system that automatically illuminates your address at night. The HELP is also equipped with a strobe light and a 120dB siren that can be activated in emergency situations via wireless remote.
The siren alerts neighbors for immediate assistance while the strobe light guides first responders directly to the correct home. HELP is a low voltage 12v system that simply plugs into an interior outlet ( in garage or attic).
You can also enhance your protection by connecting the mailbox to your smoke detectors, CO2 detectors, window and door transmitters.

I like that. Something like this would be perfect for an elderly person who lives alone. If his or her neighbors knew about the alert system, they would know to check on him or her whenever it went off.
