I read that and imagined a robotic voice talking. Maybe that is just me. :-) I don’t know if it is the future of doorbells, but I wouldn’t be surprised if something similar came to market eventually. I like that last panel where the doorbell tells the man his bologna sandwich went bad. It made me think of another idea. I bet people would love a food sensor that alerted them when their food was going bad.

I read an article about a kid in Europe that already invented a doorbell that calls ur cellphone and works like an intercom. In fact I think I read that article on this site now that I think about it.
