Burger King wants to make sure it has something on its menu to appeal to everyone and what better way than ice cream.

The Miami fast food chain on Monday kicks off the national launch of its new soft serve ice cream, offered in variety of products including cones, sundaes and milk shakes. The ice cream will be featured in national television and radio advertising.

The launch is part of a strategy by Burger King’s new management to focus on improving food quality and making the restaurant attractive to more than just young males who live on fast food. The company has already launched a new Quaker oatmeal and has other products in the works ranging from smoothies to salads.
