Female Entrepreneurs Reigniting The Economy
Women may not have the leading role in business, but they are a growing. Thanks to resources like Own it Ventures, women are getting the footing they need in business to help the economy bounce back.
Women in the New York/New Jersey area will be getting the boost they need through an event for business women being hosted on October 29th at the Hyatt hotel in Morristown, New Jersey, reports NJ.com.
According to co-founders Linda Wellbrock and Mellissa Gasnick-Cloeter, “Own It Ventures is place for women to meet the resources, make the connections, and support one another to grow scalable, sustainable companies.” What makes the event so unique is the participatory quality of the educational panels and the calibre of experts it attracts.
Attendees are given the opportunity to Pitch their businesses.This exercise gives business owners an opportunity to fine tune their sales presentation and present it to interested investors, retailers and the media.
Five finalists are selected to present live in the Sharkette Tank to a room full of investors. These pitches will also be broadcast into the main room for the audience to vote on their favorite investor pitch. In addition to the investor pitches, retail representatives will be present to hear presentations from business owners competing for retail distribution. There is also a media room where entrepreneur pitch for potential media exposure and PR.

COOL! Sounds great – finding venture capitol is seemingly frustrating and hard to “approach”. But if Own It Ventures assists women business owners in getting in front of business investors – then, GREAT! To have serious investor’s ready to step in, all in one place at one time is HUGE help. Saves time and money (and stress, I would imagine) for the business owners. Good luck to all!

This may be the same with terms such as the emancipation of women in my country, so women can compete may even work with men to develop the business or the business itself and it is very good indeed considering women are more conscientious and diligent in doing this decree, thank you for the opportunity to air comment, sorry my english writing is not good.
