If former Quiznos franchisee Rich Piotrowski could have a do-over, he would have tried to see actual sales numbers before taking the plunge into franchise ownership.
“Everyone we talked to, the response was all the same — very optimistic,†he said in an exclusive interview. “We really couldn’t get any definite numbers from anybody, but we got a sense of optimism.â€
That optimism which started as a dream of owning their own business in 2004 quickly turned into a nightmare of legal headaches, mounting debt and lawsuits against Quiznos.
